Aloha! At our August gathering at the Island Time Café, the island spirit filled the room as guests slowed down, relaxed, shared some fun and enjoyed tasty treats with their beverages. Colorful tropical flowers, including plumeria and bird of paradise, helped create the perfect Hawaiian getaway. Guests learned about the tradition of the Hawaiian lei—what it represents and what it is made from—and even had a language lesson on how to pronounce Hawaii’s state fish: humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa!
We are now looking forward to our September 15th gathering, when we will celebrate the fourth birthday of Coffee, Tea & Chat. Mark your calendars—we hope to see you there!
