Greetings Neighbors!

As the vibrant hues of spring continue to paint our Southwest Florida landscape, May arrives with a blend of anticipation for warmer days and important reminders for our community.

With the official start of hurricane season just around the corner on June 1, now is the perfect time to bolster our hurricane preparedness. Let’s ensure our families and homes are ready. Review your emergency plans, check your supply kits, and stay informed about potential weather developments. Resources like the Lee County Emergency Management website offer valuable information and checklists to help you prepare. Taking proactive steps now will provide peace of mind as we move into the season.

May also brings us two significant opportunities to celebrate and reflect. We extend our warmest wishes to all the incredible mothers in our community as Mother’s Day approaches on May 11. May your day be filled with love, joy, and appreciation.

Later in the month, on Memorial Day (May 26), we will pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Let us remember their service and dedication with gratitude and respect.

As we look forward to the anticipated arrival of the rainy season, our local flora will surely welcome the hydration. Our ponds and lawns will undoubtedly benefit from the increased rainfall, helping to keep our community lush and green.

We’re also excited to share some improvements coming to our community spaces! The community center will soon be receiving new chairs, offering more comfortable seating for our gatherings and activities. Additionally, to enhance the aesthetics of our recreational areas, screening is being installed at all three pools to discreetly conceal the pool equipment. We believe these updates will contribute to a more enjoyable experience for everyone.

Stay safe and enjoy the beauty of May in Southwest Florida!
